Short Bio

Sannyuya Liu is a professor, doctoral supervisor, and Central China Normal University (CCNU) Boya Fellow. He is currently not only the Dean of Faculty of Artificial Intelligence in Education, the Executive Deputy Director of National Engineering Research Center for E-learning (NERCEL) and National Engineering Research Center of Educational Big Data (NERC-EBD) at CCNU, but also the Vice President of Fujian Normal University (FNU). He is Changjiang Distinguished Professor, awarded by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China (MOE of China). Additionally, he is serving on plenty of national-level influencing committees, such as (i) the Deputy Director of the ICT-integrated Teaching Instructional Guidance Sub-Committee of the national Basic Education Teaching Guidance Committee under the MOE of China, (ii) a Member of the Educational Technology Instructional Guidance Subcommittee of the National Guidance Committee on Teaching Informationization and Teaching Method Innovation in Higher Education under the MOE of China, (iii) the Vice Chairman of the Educational Big Data Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Educational Development Strategy, (iv) the Vice Chairman of the Learning Science Research Branch of the China Association of Higher Education, and so on. His research interests include big data, artificial intelligence, and educational technology, etc. In recent years, he has undertaken 13 national and provincial-level projects, published 168 academic papers, authored 9 books, obtained 73 authorized patents domestically and internationally, and received 11 awards at the provincial and ministerial levels or above.
