Short Bio
Junqing Zhai earned his PhD from King's College London and was a Research Fellow at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is currently an Associate Professor at the College of Education, Zhejiang University, and an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham. He also serves on the editorial boards of several international academic journals, including International Journal of Science Education, Teachers and Teaching, and Culture, Pedagogy and Society. His research centers on informal science learning, teacher-student interactions in inquiry-based science classrooms, and nature-based early childhood education. He has led and contributed to numerous national, provincial, and international collaborative research projects. He is the author of Teaching Science in Out-of-School Settings: Pedagogies for Effective Learning (Springer).
