Short Bio
Wangbei Ye is a professor of Moral-political Department, East China Normal University, China. She earned her bachelor's degree from Beijing Normal University and obtained her master's and doctoral degrees from the University of Hong Kong. Her researches concentrate on topics such as the development of teachers' ethics, the curriculum of moral education in China, and teacher professional learning communities. She has been involved in several research projects, including Case Study on Teachers' Ethical Cultivation in the New Era funded by the National Social Science Fund from 2021 to 2023, and Experimental Study on Case Teaching of Ethical Dilemmas in Teacher Ethics funded by the Shanghai Philosophy and Social Science Planning Office from 2019 to 2022. Professor Ye has authored books such as Case Study on Teachers' Ethical Cultivation in the New Era and Moral Education in China: Instruction and Teachers. Many of her papers have been published in journals such as the British Journal of Educational Studies, Teaching and Teacher Education, Teachers and Teaching, Teaching in Higher Education, Comparative Education Review, and Journal of Education for Teaching.
