Short Bio
Wenjuan Guo is an assistant professor at the School of Education, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2017 with a PhD and a postdoctoral degree in Educational Philosophy. Over the past decade, she has been dedicated to research on teacher feedback, autonomous learning, and the development of students' self-regulatory abilities concerning learning anxiety. She has published over ten articles in high-level domestic and international journals such as Language Teaching Research, System, Applied Linguistics Review, Global Education, and Teacher Education Research. As the second author, she co-authored the textbook Theory of Curriculum and Instruction which has been selected for the Marxism Theory Research and Construction Textbook Project. Additionally, her book Key Competency-based Unit Learning Plan is soon to be published. In 2023, Dr. Guo was honored with the First Prize and the title of Teaching Expert in the 7th Young Teachers' Teaching Competition (Social Sciences Group) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
