Short Bio

Chengyu Yang holds a Ph.D. in Education and is an associate researcher at the Institute of Curriculum and Instruction of East China Normal University. He has published the manuscript titled "A Theory of Chinese Language Life." He has published many papers in authoritative journals such as Educational Research and Journal of East China Normal University (Educational Sciences). In 2015, Yang Chengyu went abroad for academic visits and learned much from Professor William F. Pinar, a leading figure in curriculum theory. Upon returning, he launched a new course titled A Study of Traditional Concepts in Chinese Language Education, and his new book A Theory of Chinese Language Life was also published.
