Short Bio
Dr. Wang has focused on the policies and development of international education between China and the United States, the mental health and social development of international students, and the learning and development issues of minority student groups. She is committed to using frameworks from sociology, organizational theory, critical theory, and policy evaluation, as well as qualitative, quantitative, or mixed research methods to explain phenomena and issues in the field of higher education. In addition to her ongoing interest in comparing the development of higher education in China and abroad,she is currently primarily engaged in research areas such as the evaluation and reform of university general education and graduate student courses and training.
