Short Bio

Peidong Yang is an associate professor at the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He received a DPhil in Education from the University of Oxford, and his research focuses on the intersections of education and migration/mobility, especially international student mobility. Peidong has been ranked by Stanford University among the world’s top 2% of research scientists in education in 2023 and 2024. Peidong is also an Associate Fellow of Advance HE (UK), an affiliate with the Centre for Global Higher Education (CGHE), and a member of Comparative & International Education Society (CIES) and Higher Education Research Association (HERA), among other professional associations and bodies.
