Short Bio

Creso Sá is Distinguished Professor of Science Policy, Higher Education, and Innovation, and Vice-Dean of the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), at the University of Toronto. He is Editor-in-Chief of Studies in Higher Education and Associate Editor of Entrepreneurship Education. His work focuses on science & technology policy, the evolving role of universities in supporting innovation, and the organization of science. He is co-author of Tapping the Riches of Science: Universities and the Promise of Economic Growth (Harvard University Press, 2009) and of The Entrepreneurship Movement and the University (Palgrave Macmillan, 2015). His research has been funded by the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada, the Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario, the U.S. National Science Foundation, the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities, and the Canadian Education Association.
