WRO Future Innovators
The Best Way to Showcase STEM Teaching Achievements

Bring your creative works to the 2026 STEM Conference and exchange with outstanding teams worldwide!
WRO Future Innovators program requires teams to design a robot to solve a challenge in the real world. Teams should conduct research on the theme to propose solutions and create an innovative, functional robot. During the competition, teams will present their robots to the judges, who will provide suggestions for program optimization while evaluating the teams' innovation, teamwork, and ability to present their creative ideas.
Centering competition themes around the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a core feature of WRO Future Innovators. The 2026 theme "Robots Meet Culture" further deepens and innovates this concept. Based on culture's key role in sustainable development, the theme emphasizes that culture is not only an important part of development but also a powerful transformative force shaping the future of sustainable development.

For the theme "Robots Meet Culture," participating teams can explore the following directions to translate the multi-dimensional significance of SDGs education into concrete actions:
Focus on the dynamic development of cultural heritage, explore the modern transformation of traditional wisdom, emphasize the inclusiveness of cultural services, promote the innovative development of cultural industries, build bridges for global cultural dialogue... For example, design robots that help visually impaired people "perceive" the contours of cultural relics, develop interactive systems to promote cross-cultural communication...
